Yeah, she is! I was surprised to find that out myself. One of my teachers had Judy Collins, Pam Grier and Don Cheadle as students in his class (he was an English teacher).
"Jackie Brown" is not my favorite (Reservoir Dogs fan here) but her performance was outstanding.
I forgot one other "famous" guy. Philip Bailey from the band "Earth, Wind and Fire" also went to my high school.
