A year would kill it even at that lower price. Insiders at GAF have said it would be 6 months so take this with the usual grain of salt:

What I hope for the sequel is that they cut out those shaky cam moments. I just bought the first game on PS4 and I like everything but that one is a killer. And sometimes, when I'm tired I just feel sick playing the game (had that 2x).

I bought TR PS4 for 12 euros (totally worth it) on the store and I'll wait for the sequel till it hits a low point as well as for me it's not a must have in the end.

That is indeed a pretty big difference going from 6 to 12 months. I agree that a year would definitely kill the buzz even at a lower price point for some. I always seem to have a huge backlog of games so it would not affect me getting it when it comes to the PS4 if I do not have the Xbox One by the holidays. Hopefully the 6 month time frame is more accurate. I would be nice if there was some transparency on just how long since someone obviously knows, but I suppose that is too much to ask.

Any news on a PC version? I would put my faith in neogaf over these guys. They were sure Silent Hill was going to be an Xbox One exclusive for a billion dollars. This is where that rumor originated.

It's bad enough to release later but to let a huge list of exclusives release before hand is suicide. Sony bundles will kill it completely. Square are going to regret this.

If this is real, I wouldn't mind to wait for it especially if the game would be sold for $40. I'm already cover with other's better games that I'm looking forward to play this year and next year.

if it outsells the X1 verion even after that it will hopefully make square never get in bed with MS again.
