Well, if Nintendo were really up to it, they could buy Nintendo, Sega and Tecmo Koei. That would give them a slew of new IPs.

I disagree. Especially with the notion that they only have three IP of value. Those are their only valuable IP because those are the only ones they put significant financial backing into. Ironman was a B-tier super hero before Disney stepped in. Now he's in the same league as Spider-Man, batman, and Superman.

All it takes is one good game with good marketing to bring a franchise back into relevancy. That especially holds true for a franchise like Mega Man. And even with less showstopping franchises like Okami, they are still valuable as "guardians of the Galaxy"-level games in between the big guys.

The Resi4 exclusivity didn't work out because it wasn't surrounded by Capcoms best. Capcom wasn't at all smashing out hits at the time. Even so, it definitely sold well.

Banjo or master chief will be joining smash, in exchange mine craft will be comming to wii u and 3ds. Maybe with some Nintendo theams.

Maybe could tie it in with the Petition to cancel Metroid Prime Federation Force and use the workforce to create that Vita port!!! Oh how a fan (boy?) can dream? :D

I'd be confident that a Ninty game wont be gracing a Sony or Microsoft platform for many years to come, but still if you suggested to me in the 90s that Sonic and Mario would be on the same platform... and then in the same Olympic games series.... and fighting side by side against Bowser in something like Smash bros, I prolly woulda started a fight with you over it lol.
