I guess those complaining about the game not coming as a real game (not just a level editor) have been silenced. Yes, it still won't have a story (I'm sure) but does any 2-d Mario game ever have a story? 100 levels not counting the thousands/millions that will be made by players, woot!

Super Mario Maker Will Come With 100 Pre-Made Mario Levels On Disc

According to the Nintendo UK’s website for Super Mario Maker, the build-your-own-stage game will come packaged with 100 levels on the disc. These levels will be playable from the get-go, without requiring any download from the internet.

Super Mario Maker has been receiving a ton of attention since Nintendo World Championships, whether it be physics, amiibo integration, orsimply the name change. Super Mario Maker is due out this September 11th as a Wii U exclusive.

Sounds good. I wonder if any levels from past games will be recreated by Nintendo for the game. If not, I'm sure the community will do more than its fair share. I hope Super Mario Bros. 2 and Yoshi's Island assets are released someday as well.

aw man Yoshi's island has my favorite art style of all of Mario (though Wooly World is potentially going to be my favorite). I also loved the music in the Island series the most. Story was also fantastic. ALL THE YOSHI GAMES ARE THE BEST WOW!
