This announcement was made on the 23/24th. So about 20days-25days of sales and its 1.1mil! Maybe 1.25mil hopefully by end of quarter!

splatoon literally sold 455k by end of june in the US with Japan sales being over 400k at the same time.

And if the 1.08mil number is all sold which seems to be the case (which was about June 22/23), that means shipment might be 1.5mil in a month

Time to take out the other bets and predictions. I've seen comparisons against Halo MCC, Titanfall, a 4m lifetime prediction... What else? Splatoon can take everything surely.
