Its only doomed in a sense that windows and xbox will be integrated, the xbox is losing its console soul

First Titanfall is dead (there is no active comunnity in this game)... so wait Titanfall 2 to see if there will be community to play the game.
What left to you is Fable Legends that you can play on PC.
Are there any other game you want to play on Xbone? If not then I guess it is really a bad investiment from your part.
Completely doomed. In fact, all devs at E3 just said they were stopping their work on any titles for XB1 that they had in the pipeline and then they bowed to the PS4 overlord. (end sarcasm here)
XB1 isn't going to be winning the gen at the current rate, but that doesn't mean the system is on its last legs. If it has games you are interested in now, take the plunge. It will be getting third party support and first party exclusives for the next FEW years at least.
Microsoft has more money than God and his mother. They won't let the X1 fail, even if they lose more money with it than Sony with the PS3 (which they don't).
So you're good. It could be that they are not bringing a new console next gen though. But that's just speculation.

Well I was thinking more a long the lines of TitanFall but it's dead, but I can wait around until TitanFall 2. I also don't have a gaming PC so that's why I wanted the XB One to play it with. I seen some of their E3, Not a big FPS person so don't care for Halo, but Recore & Sea of Theives look cool, a bit early to say for sure.

No it's not a troll thread. Just because of how the global economy is thesedays, I have to use a lot of discretion when deciding which games/consoles to buy; it's not like before.

I think the best for you now is wait... you can get even a better deal in the future with some price cuts.

xbox might not be doomed but titanfall is dead.
but,... the way the industry is going xbox one gamers are being treated as second class citizens. you'll get ps4's sloppy seconds or partial portions of all the 3rd party games.
