One of the greats .. R.I.P :(

Wow... R.I.P.

Damn. Rest in peace.

R.I.P I guess... for being known.

R.I.P to all the innocent people who fall victim to oppressors and corrupt governments world wild. My heart goes out especially to my innocent brothers and sisters in Gaza and the West Bank.

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

No, he was not one of the best film music composers ever, just one of the most successful ones.

R.I.P.

I've listened to his music for hundreds of hours while writing, such inspirational tones and such a unique blend of styles and sound in his composition. Him, Ennio Morricone, Clint Mansell, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer and John Williams will always be the all time greats for me.
A true loss not only to the entertainment industry but also to my own personal creativity, which has been sparked in no small part due to this man's life's work.
Thank you for your music and contributions.

If his music would have sucked they would have fired his ass years ago. He was a successful not because he a sucked, but because he was one of the best ever.

True, but he was NO John Williams. No one is at John Williams' level... and never will be. E.T, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman... untouchable.

Some vile, disrespectful people on this site man, makes me cringe.

James Horner was fucking brilliant, easily one of the best film composers of all time. R.I.P.
