While I wasn't expecting an actual new Metroid game, for them to reveal this spinoff in the manner that they did was completely inconsiderate. While the rest of E3 was good enough for this to not bother me much I'm just disappointed. If anything this points to their efforts being used toward a new, more powerful, and engaging console. If they do not impress next year then I will be beyond agitated, only then when I can see the truth of their efforts unveiled will my support wane.

Both due to the fact that it carries the namesake of stellar IP that have won Nintendo many fans since their inception respectively.

Furthermore, to Curl-San, I understand that we were to choose only one. However, since each series does have importance and contribution to video gaming as a whole, I consider both Blast Ball and Amiibo Festival to be inseparable due to both games shaming their respective franchises legacies.

Neither really. Amiibo crossing is just a free 2 play people that like collecting amiibos and it makes sense for those people. I don't understand the hate for metroid prime galactic federation. It makes sense it's just a game based on the soldiers from the metroid games, who happen to play a big part in the 2nd and 3rd prime games and its being made by the Japanese director of the prime series. Also people are aware the ball blast part is just a multiplayer mode in the game and not the main game right?

Amiibo Crossing - since im a fuking AC fan, and I was hoping it to be announced for Wii U. And that even watching the gameplay from the treehouse, i wasn't SOLD or felt SLIGHTLY BETTER about it. While the Metroid one looked really good watching them play.

Metroid Prime, reasons being:

1. Metroid is my favorite nintendo franchise
2. Other M was disappointing and hated by many fans so a proper Metroid game was needed before a spin-off
3. If you are making a spin-off, at least make it more related to the franchise, like instead of playing as some chibi-looking federation troops that are not relevant in the Metroid universe ( unless they are Adam Malkovich and company) why not play as Samus and the other hunter from Metroid Prime 3, each with their own unique skills? That would have been more appealing and it the name Metroid Prime in it would fit perfectly.

But the troopers are big part of of prime 3 and their corpses are a big part of 2

Metroid. AC was a dick move to all hell, yes, but we still COULD get a Wii U AC game before the NX hits since they'd wanna use the HD resources. Metroid on Wii U is dead, and the only thing the series has to show is a spinoff. It'd be like if they called Splatoon Mario Sunshine: Blooper's Revenge and changed nothing from the current product.

The Mother franchise had a better E3 than Metroid. That's how bad it was.
