Forums - Gaming - Capcom's Project Morpheus game Kitchen seems terrifying.

Capcom still being the king of software, I see. :P

This got me all hyped. Wish I could try it and give my honest impressions about it. I can't find anything remotely terrifying these days.

I really hope you'll be able to try Morpheus with such games at Paris Games Week !
First time i'll go there if Morpheus is

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

It sounds like a mostly passive experience though and don't know if I like the sound of that.

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

Another example of VR to be exactly what I have pictured. I have personally never tried VR but reading some expressions and live reactions of those who have used one, I am deeply worried how people constantly hype this new tech. How come there is no talk about possible negative effects of VR experience? Seriously...

Do people really think that there is no risk when using VR? "Living" all this horror experience could cause severe trauma to many and all I see is hype. When the immersion is at the level where your brain can't separate it from reality, it means you are basically defenseless against programmers. Has there been any medical research of long time VR experience? Please post a link if anyone knows.

I am terrified when VR are pushed to mass market we start to hear about bad experiences. Some which I believe will lead to permanent trauma.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

The potential for horror games is huuuuuuge here. I might end up getting in on the whole thing purely for that.

A normal game wont be so bad, and you can always choose to stop it or take it off.

Unless your talking about forms of torture.... yeah I can see the military useing VR as such... strap you down in a chair, and put on various forms of liveing hell for you, until you break. I wouldnt be surprised if someone somewhere is already developeing such for that purpose.

Damn, I really want to see footage of this now.

From what I read it's basically just a simulator of a demon being around you while you're tied to a chair and you have no idea where it is and it feels so real?

Reminds me of the Alien Encounter ride from Disneyland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2XkRn_pAQI

Watch AngryJoe's impression on the game. Skip to 9:10:

Apparently it is pant-crappingly scary.

He says at one point he was like "this is just a game, i ll just man up and show this character whats up"

So he does a posture thats like "hey whats up" and gets up in her face.... she frekking mirrored his movements and did the same thing back to him.

At that point he freaks out...

Would be crazy if theres a A.I element to this, and the camra watches you as your playing so this "demon" knows how to react to you, if you try sh*t like that.
