And that's the reason why they have the strongest 1st party developers right now. In all honesty, I feel that Sony is miles ahead of its competition in this department right now.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

this is what theyve been doing every generation and one of the biggest reasons why i buy the system, i knew when i bought the PS4 that my all time favorite exclusives (bt far) would end up being new IPs that i didint know off at the moment, and already that has become true with Bloodborne and will continue to be the case with Horizon.

Whenever I show someone the 2005 The Last Guardian trailer they are really awe-struck as they have never seen a game like that before. I feel Microsoft tend to stick to the Halo/Gear/Forza/third-person shooter trend whilst Nintendo for the most part stick to the Mario Kart/Super Mario 3d/2D Mario/Zelda route. Sony in this regard are unique.

Just a small correction, but 2009 was when The Last Guardian was announced. It's only (I use only loosely here) been in development since 2007.

How is Horizon a risky concept?

Are you serious ? Female heroin fighting dino robots in a new IP open world is not a risky concept for you ?

This sounds like a pitch every Hollywood studio would fund in a heartbeat. I mean seriously, pitch that to any gamer and he would be all in.

I mean even I would play it if it wasn't on the wrong platform and I usually hate every game.

Maybe at Hollywood but not in video games. Pitch that to any shareholder and he will think you are crazy

I remember when it was announced 1 year ago, a lot of people laughed at the concept a bit childish " lol fighting  dino robots with a bow , sure " you cant take the concept seriously, unless you see it :)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Oppps sorry meant to type 2015 trailer! My mistake. The 2009 trailer is good but not really 'gameplay', neither is the 2010 trailer. The game was much too ambitious for the PS3, I doubt it was ever close to being finished back then.

Risky concepts doesn't sound that great, but I like that they are innovative and sometimes try new things.
