so basically this is the transilation : "we are sorry for being money whores"

It's just business. I didn't see you complain about SFV, Shenmue III, Persona 5, FF VII remake or any other exclusive deal Sony moneyhatted. A lot more than MS as well.

The comparison is so invalid, it's not even funny. SFV wouldn't have happened without Sony because Capcom didn't have the money to make it. It's been revelaed by the developers. What else do you need? Persona 5? You got a source for that? Or are you gonna list all Japanese games and accuse Sony fo moneyhatting them?

Square Enix can afford making TR all on their own. SE also said they couldn't do a FFVII remake. Sony apparently was willing to fund the project. The difference is that MS paid SE for TR not to be released on ps4. Without the deal, the game would have happened anyway? The other projects would not have been done without Sony.

If MS funds a Legacy of Kain game and it's an exclusive, that would be comparable. Your current comparison is apples to oranges.

So please stop spreading misinformation and do some research instead of accusing people of double standards without all the facts.

I wonder how those who are disgusted by this "money whore" action even got into Tomb Raider series considering it was moneyhatted by Sony almost right from the start. Or does it only become money whoring when Playstation is the platform left out instead of the platform getting exclusive rights to Tomb Raider?

Street Fighter V was moneyhatted by Sony, TR moneyhatted by Microsoft. Everyone is doing it

Not really. The difference is: Capcom developers said they could not make a SFV game with the funds that Capcom currently has. TR would have happened anyway.

And TR was moneyhatted years ago by Sony too, which was the point. People only seem upset about these deals when it affects them negatively.

The denial is strong in this one.

Capcom can't pay SFV? SE can't pay a FFVII remake? LOL.

So SE can pay for a big new game like TR, but not a remake? Just wow.

This goes beyond double standards.

How about the exclusive CoD and Batman: Arkham Knight dlc huh? Sony is by far the worst offender of moneyhatting this gen.

Not that any of it matters, it's just business.

If they would have made this from the ground up for the Xbox one then I wouldn't be bothered as much but having it on the 360 makes me feel that they are being held back by the restrictions of last gen.

Yea, but at least the game is getting made.

Although, I still have to play the last one. It's just sitting there on my hard drive.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Not exactly. If Sony moneyhats Mass Effect 4, I would have a problem with it. It's a game that became successful on xb360 and was later ported to ps3. If the developers agree to a deal with Sony and screw xbox owners, who made the game a success, it would be disgraceful. I don't have a problem with MS for moneyhatting TR, but with SE.

In that regard, I don't think it's the same. It's not a simple case of moneyhat, it's a case of saying FU to your loyal customers who made the game a success.

Similarly, if Sunset Overdrive 2 is a ps4 timed exclusive, I'd say the same thing about Insomniac.

Wow indeed. The developers themselves said that SFV cannot be made. Not me, not you. They said it. As for Capcom and its financial situation, do a little research to see how little money they have avalaible in the bank and how that's affecting production. But, sure, I'm in denial, not you. But continue with your baseless accusations. Don't let facts get in your way.

SE said that FFVII is a huge game and cannot be re-made. Obviously it's a big financial risk and they haven't done well in quite a while, especially since the release of FFXIV. Since they fixed the problems with it, they're doing a little better, but they have tons of projects in production, so starting another long and costly project is a huge risk. They may have the money to make it, but what happens if it doens't do as well as they hope or if they face financial difficulities in year or two and the game is still not doen? It's not a game that can be made in a short time. They stated that it would be impossible to be made. In other words, incredibly expensive, so it is very likely that they would never had done it had they not had extra funds to secure themselves. Also, LOLing is not an argument. How much do you think it'd cost them if you think such a statement is so lol-worthy?

As for Batman DLC, it's apples to oranges. In one case you have a game delayed for god knows how long (it's unspecified atm). It may take 6 or more months to play it. In the other case you can play the same game on your console the same day. How exactly is it the same? You can't compare the first thing that comes to mind and call it double standards. As for my view on timed DLC, I said it before and I'll say it again. I hate it. It costs Sony money they could be spending on making new games or not closing down small studios. But that's a different topic.

Who cares! Microsoft got a nice exclusive, and deservedly so. If Sony has wanted it, they would've fought for it. Get an Xbox One, get the game, solved.

Do you believe any PR statement by a big company?

That's all I have to say to your post. Capcom could easily make SFV with the profits they make from milking MH.
