I apologize if there has already been a thread for this, but how do you think this version should have been treated? I think it looks entertaining because it actually looks like a horror game and I think it should have at least been a spin-off. Some fans think it should have been a new franchise as it's supernatural sequences don't fit Resident Evil.

What do you think?

Wow, looks... like a horror game. I think this style suits better the vision of creating horror. But I think gameplay-wise the original style is better.
