Looking at the 3DS line-up, I think they are banking that Yo-kai watch will be hit in the west. I hope they market it like Pokemon

For Wii U there's a Mario spin off, those always sell, plus Animal Crossing and Star Fox, then Xenoblade two weeks after, I wouldn't worry about the lack of "blockbusters".

It's so weird but its been consistent in all Nintendo images and discussions. No mention of these games. Makes me really wonder if they are not going to release at all or in the near future in NA.

Fatal Frame was confirmed Fall 2015 on Nintendo of America's YouTube channel and they also showcased it at the Nintendo Treehouse (with localized footage) so I'm confident in that game coming this year.

As for Devil's Third, it's releasing in Europe this August, which is a notably smaller market for Nintendo than NA, so I can't see them not releasing it in the same year over here. I'm sure it'll come at some point, but who knows? Their silence doesn't make me confident about it.

Yeah, the 3DS should be fine imo. It's about to catch on fire in Japan with the recently released Rhythm Heaven, then Fire Emblem, then a plethora of Yo-Kai Watch and Monster Hunter games along with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.

As for the west, Tri Force Heroes, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon and Yo-Kai Watch should be enough for a fairly stable holiday period. I think they're doing the cross media stuff for YW like they did in Japan, which is the tactic they originally used for Pokemon back in the day (and still do) so I feel it will at least do decently. The question is if it will move hardware.
