Forums - Nintendo - Mushroom Men - Gameplay Videos

This looks fun - hope it gets rated and sells well, yet another must purchase for me.

Perhaps you'll be able to learn things and collect combination of items to power up into a magic mushroom where you can make your environment go a little surreal and you think your attacks are fantastically strong but in reality they seem a little overrated.

One day i'm gonna sit and work out who costs me the most money on here by posting clips or info that makes me buy a game. Looks a lot of fun using a very interesting idea oh and the lead mushroom man you control - he looks like a "fun Guy", see what I did there?

This looks fun and strange. Maybe buy it.

The framerate looked iffy in the first video, but the level's size and detail looks improved over what I'd seen before. Camera looked iffy at times. Hopefully it'll turn out good.

Honestly, I don't know what to expect from this title. I'll be keeping my eye on it though.

Honestly, I thought this game would suck, but it reminds me a lot of Psychonauts for some reason, and I'm digging it. I'll probably buy this game, for real.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Wait I'm confused. How is there a hd version if the wii doesn't do hd. Do they upscale it or do they mean 480p.

The vids are of a dude playing the game, not the game by itself directly fed into the camera.

However, generally HD on the internet, just means that it'll look less like a youtube vid. It has nothing to to with the games native resolution.

Yeah I noticed that framerate issue too, but I'm assuming they still have some optimizations to make since the game doesn't have a set release date yet to my knowledge.

I was very happy  to see how much it improved graphically and overall it looks pretty good now.

To Each Man, Responsibility

The build that they're showing has quite a bit of technical issues, and the combat looks sorta repetitive, but otherwise the game looks promising. I might get interested if there's enough content and variety.

Thank You sqrl and Zenfolder. I understand now.
