Nope. It still sells a significant amount on Xbox and Sony would have to pay hundreds of millions to make it exclusive.

No chance. They sell too much on the other consooles/Pcs to even consider that option. It would be just a plain stupid move

th way PS4 is going and with a price-cut and exlcusive, the lead is gonna extend and alot of X360 fanbase is on PS4 and USA fanbase with COD on PS4

PS4 is almost 2:1 to XBONE and look at GTA5 NEXT GEN sales again 2:1 and will increase even more.

GTA5 has sold 27million on PS3 and PS4 and 19million on X360 and XBONE.It can easily become 10 million for XBONE and 25million for PS4 with SONY spending $200 million on marketing and ROCKSTAR spending $200 million on marketing,it could easily become 35 million on PS4 with the rest 10-15 million for XBONE and PC Late release which will bring it equal to GTA5 and this is for first game in generation.Look at how GTA4 sold as it released early on a smaller install base.Later on for GTA7 it could even be 40million on PS4 and 10-15 million on XBONE.

If you would say you don't think so,that would be alrite but in no way is it NOT ATALL POSSIBLE cause it quite possible after the way SONY are going, even for GTA

they won't lose 1 sale from GTA5 if they went exclusive

It depends on how sucsessfull xbox will be in future and if microsoft will keep supporting the system even with bad sales. At the moment they invest alot money in the system.

the way its going they would need to pay as low as $100 million or as high as $200-300million OR they would just put $200million for marketing GTA6 which they would as it is do even if it was multiplatform so its actually not charging them atall

thats chunk change for what it would do not just for PLAYSTAION as a brand but also SONY

and thats if they don't already have an exlcusive deal with ROCKSTAR

Isn't up to Sony or Microsoft, Rockstar wouldn't turn down the added profit, especially when they've already tweaked their engine to run on the XB1, so it's presumably not a huge process to make a PS4/XB1 version.

Sorry no, Rockstar has no allegiance to either company. The only thing they care about is the bottom line.
In your best case scenario for Sony where Rockstar is only able to muster sales of 10 - 15 million copies on other consoles, do you really think they would leave that kind of money on the table?
$60 x 10,000,000 = $600,000,000
$60 x 15,000,000 = $900,000,000
No company in their right is leaving more than half a billion in sales (on the low end )to a possible billion (on the high end) out in the wild.

The realistic question would be, does Sony have the money to make it a console exclusive?

I honestly can't believe you actually think this could happen. It's obvious that GTA sells well on Xbox consoles so why would they alienate such a huge number of gamers? The logic behind this is just ridiculous and it shows how desperate people are trying to stir shit up.

they have invested much more before, for XBOX 1 and X360 they lost $9.5 BILLION but earned alot back from X360 profit but they may have put in as much as $12-15billion just on XBOX 1 and XBOX 360

they not putting as much on XBONE and they just seem to have left hope for it the way they are going. Also since X360 performance,XBOX brand losses and Windows delcine, the shareholders are not as easy as they used to be as MICROSOFT is not as dominant company as it used to be

and there also have been major news of MICROSOFT selling XBOX over the last 5 years

its actually very much upto SONY and ROCKSTAR

MICROSOFT paid $100million to stop GTA4 coming exclusive to PS3 and paid another $100million for GTA4 exclusivity

Also being made a marquee title for a console gives even GTA alot of help and publicity and GTA4 had MCIRSOFT marketing  and GTA5 had SONY marketing so they get BIG help from both the companies

And GTA on any platform would perform so well that it would turn the console war in that consoles drection.

their engine is for everygame from MAX PAYNE,RED DEAD REVOLUTION,LA NOIRE,etc.it has nothing to do with GTA

ROCKSTAR doesn't have allegiance to either company but they have big relationship to SONY and PS2 has a major part in ROCKSTAR's success.

GTA would be a Timed exclusive not a full exlcusive as it has always been,10-15million sales would easily be couped up a year later launch on XBONE and PC.
