That is true. I've seen many times where the Vita version is cheaper. I wonder why that is...

This makes me want to have a Bravely Default game on Vita...

Bet with Xander XT:
I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Publishers just getting the max out of the MSRP. Hyrule Warriors 3DS will almost certainly be cheaper than Wii U version even with the extra content it has over the Wii U version.

The simple answer is that the Vita is a handheld that has standard game pricing, and the PS3/PS4 are home consoles with their own standard game pricing. They could price both versions the same, but they just kind of don't. They stick to the standard pricing, and I guess it works for them. Plus, no matter how you look at it, there are less Vita's in the wild, so if people want a version, odds are they'll only ever see the $60 version and hop on that.

I see. That makes sense. I imagine HW3D will cost cheaper as well.

My favorite surprise from E3!
I'll definitely be buying this for PS4 but glad it's coming for Vita as well. Now give Vita RE: Revalations 2 and Gravity Rush 2 already! (along with Gravity Rush 1&2 for PS4)
Looks too weird to me... Most likely going to pass on it...

I honestly thought Square were trolling us again with this announcement. And then Final Fantasy 7 hit.
Looks OK so far but I need more information.
I will reserve judgement until I see more but for now... I have more interest in a new barbie game than that.

The normal price point for handheld games is 40 bucks (but I think I saw some titles for 50), so that's pretty much the norm.
