While E3 has another day, the big guns have already had their conferences. I decided to take a look at online retailers hourly/daily charts to see who has benenfited the most, in terms of HW and at least short term, from E3.
PS4 - #18, #19, #55, #78
XBO - #27, #63
Wii U - Does not chart in the Top 100
PS4 - #37, #76

XBO - #10, #25, #72, #75, #92
Wii U - #58
PS4 -#8, #22, #88

Best Buy
I can't really figure out how to get to Best Buy Top 100, and the page I had bookmarked with it no longer seems to work. So, if anyone can help me there, I'll put it up.
Looking at the results, it seems that the PS4 has seen the largest effect. It sees a significant rise at Amazon, and to a lesser extent at Walmart. On Amazon, the PS4 is outselling the XBO by more than 2:1, possibly close to 3:1. At Gamestop, the XBO seems to have a lead on the PS4, though most likely nothing near 2:1. And while the two XBO SKUs at Target are above two of the PS4s, given the extra PS4 SKU at #22, I would imagine the PS4 is either tied with the XBO or slightly ahead. And unfortunately, it seems Nintendo's Direct may not have helped things for the Wii U. I may have even hurt them, since the Wii U was still in Amazon's Top 100 not too long ago, even in decent positions.
While some of these sites may not have updated too recently (I think the quickest to update are Amazon, Gamestop, and Walmart), I think it's safe to say that the PS4 has benefited the most from the E3 conferences, XBO has definitely seen some improvement, and the Wii U may have actually been hurt by them. Thoughts?
