Forums - Nintendo - The Holiday 2015 line-up for Wii U/3DS is great

Not 3DS imo. online Zelda spinoff might not do as well as ALBW and Yokai Watch appeal in west is not known. Could be as big as in Japan or no.

Q1/2 still was better than previous years.

Rodea is a 3d game and retail?

No it wasn't.

Its definitely pretty solid. Looking forward to Yoshi, Mario Maker, XCX, & Star Fox for sure!

Huh? What was last year Q1? Year before last was a wasteland and part of the longest game drought ever!

DKTF Q1 and MK8 Q2. This year had only Kirby Q1 and Splatoon Q2. This year has been a wasteland too, only with two worse games.

You forgot the sleeper game of the year... Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice.

No hype for Lego Dimensions and Super Pokemon Dungeon? I can't wait for these game.

And yes taking a step back from yesterdays rage fit, the Wii U and 3DS line-up is good from a gamers point of view. Plenty of things to play, no doubt about that.

From a sales point of view, none of them are quite the mega sellers like Pokemon, a Super Mario game or Smash. Perhaps with a Wii U price cut maybe even a 3DS price cut, Nintendo can secure a really good holiday

I don't really put Zelda or Metroid or Animal Crossing on a pedestal like many Nintendo fans. I enjoy Star Fox as much or more than any of those IP.

So for me, it's fine. Super Mario Maker looks great.

The only thing that is somewhat dissapointing to me is it seems that Xenoblade X is a good game, but it may not be a "great" game, in fact it seems like the original Xenoblade might be better according to reviews/impressions coming from Japan. So that's a bit of a let down given how long of a dev cycle it had.

I only care for Yoshi's Woolly World, so I wouldn't call it a stellar line-up. I don't think a lot of these games will review well.

That Zelda game looks like a cheap budget title, with many assets being re-used from ALBW and they somehow ended up making it look worse. I'm not going to support something like that. Zelda shouldn't be multiplayer either.

Come on now, after last year's Sonic Boom games, how bad can this one possibly be?
