this reminds me of SM3W where it didn't look that good at first and then it kept looking better and better every time they showed new trailers of it

I missed E3 that year and saw all of the posts about how bad 3DW looked.  I was pretty shocked when I saw it.  It always looked good to me!  But you're right.  It kept getting better and better until I jizzed.

Dat October trailer.

I don't think those are the final assets for the Wii U version, that would be too sad lol

Your signature :O

They just reuse the old assets and add a couple LOD (level of detail) and better anti aliasing and higher texture that's all, with better resolution. I think it's because they still using the same concept and the same artistic design. They should change the art design model to become more complex not just re using the old arts design from old Gamecube games. Wii u can do more then this.

Here is the thing though, the effects look fine and great, but the assets look like hot street trash, and I doubt they'll leave them that way.

I think that Star Fox Zero will be 720p 60fps + 480p 60fps, right?

Right.

Super cherry-picked, no way around it. It isn't equal, and the video you embedded is the perfect example of cherry picking, because it's easy to tell that there's A LOT MORE compression in that video than there was in the video provided earlier by Goodnightmoon (IGN's upload vs Nintendo's own). Stop pretending like you're being fair.

This!  I wasn't a fan of Nintendo's conference but this thread.  Wtf, OP?  What is your agenda here?  It wouldn't surprise me if he hooked a Wii up to an old black and white TV and ran the GC version on Batman's computer and called it a "Fair comparison" at this point.

funny how so many people think i would have fun by making this game looking bad. why should it? im not, the game just looked bad.
