Forums - Sony - Is it possible that The Last Guardian might be.............. boring?

Did this demo make the game look boring? Yeah it did. That doesn't mean the game will be boring however but for the love of god the kid screaming every 10 seconds was completely ridiculous and needs to be removed. It was annoying from a short demo showcased and I can only imagine how annoying it would be playing the game.

The kid calling the creature must be the result of whatever dude who was playing the game hitting the button that calls the creature again and again, just like it worked in Shadow of the Colossus for the horse Agro. You don't press the button, the kid doesn't call the creature.

Calling Trico triggers a possible command with which the creature will go and solve a puzzle he can help with, if there is any.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Quoted for more people to see.. oh wait, who am I kidding?

And I will translate that little bit... in VGChartz NO ONE reads! lol Sometimes it would appear to be the case.

Cool

No. No, it is not.

This is a puzzle platformer, like all of Ueda, and Team Japan games that have come out before it. So with that you are going to love it or hate it.

The yelling boy portion I think will be in the beginning of the game more, and taper off after awhile, as you build a better relationship with the cat griffin.

It feels to me like it is going to center play around the " heavy box mechanic" where you use him as a box to reach places/manipulate the environment, open new pathways, etc..

With that said I wonder if there is going to be a combat mechanic to this game?

It looks interesting but that gameplay trailer indeed looks underwhelming. I'm sure this game has more to offer, but for now, I'll just be staying tuned.

Last Guardian will be a great game. Best? Well maybe not but a great add to Playstation 4 game collection. We need more games, more variety and that's what Sony is bringing to us.

It looks great to me. I'm still excited to experience another of Fumito's worlds.

My expectations are a bit high with Ico and SotC taking up spots 3 and 5 of my top 5 best games of all time. (with Grim Fandango in the middle). But I'm very hopeful it will enter my top 10. I'm ready for a new slow paced exploration heavy puzzle based game.

'Modern' games are definitely fun too, yet I'm already struggling to keep my interest in the Witcher 3 with still no end in sight. Less is more in my book. I want a game that leaves me wanting more with the drive to play it again, instead of games that go on until you're sick of them.

Now what the heck happened to Rime?

Some people say Ico is boring.
