Forums - Nintendo - Hopefully Nintendo will learn from their bombed E3 before it is too late

For me the worst was mentioning the NX. That was a gigantic mistake. They may have killed any possible Wii U sales with that. They also burned their own fans with it, wich is very grave.
Its also illogical how they dont even mention titles like devils third and fatal frame. Don't know what the hell they were doing, but i do know they have been severely hurt by it.
Add a really late release for Xeno X and a disappointing mario tennis announcement and really... i just done know what to say.

They REALLY need to master HD. It's 2015 and they're still struggling with it. It's pathetic really.

Can you linke me a source?

You guys are joking right?

I would take monthly directs over "wait until E3 strategy" any day.

The NWC was mich more enjoyable to watch than the digital event tbh.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Nintendo never learn, they've shown this time and time again.

it's kind of hard not to do a great one next year with NX in that digital event.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Dissapointing, and I would say, pathetic Digital Event

I remember that at some point they said that they wouldn´t talk about future games (like Zelda) in this E3, but that was a huge mistake. The entire presentation was only about games that everybody already knew or heard about. And an unecessary overdose of Mario. No real surprises and not a single word about future projects. Some interesting games coming, like Devil´s Third, Fatal Frame, Fast Racing Neo, and not a single word about them.

They will need some killing Nintendo Directs from now on to recover their fanbase trust. And give more attention to the very few games from third parties they´re still getting (Lego, Disney, Just Dance, Guitar Hero)

I think they failed to strike the right balance between showcasing upcoming games and future titles (if there are indeed future titles).

Plus I believe they need to get their development priorities right. Stop wasting money and resources on garbage like that AC Amiibo party garbage and more into games like Splatoon, Super Mario Maker and other exciting new idea's.

future titles can be bluffed to build hype. Sony do it all the time and people buy their consoles because of it. Then eventually the sales numbers warrant the game being made. They could make some CGI videos and say coming late 2016 on them and then just shift them to NX assuming its a wii u replacement.
