Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Digital Event was a mistake, it was nothing but trash.

It was not a mistake. Today, many fans have opened their eyes to the truth.

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Around the Network

I'm always amazed at how the haters mind work. the digital event was bad because of lack of new games for wii u, the existing schedule is ok. that's it.

also, sony and MS have terrible presentations almost every year and we never see this doom and gloom form you haters. I wonder why.

It's a great format, but you can't make chicken salad from chicken poop.

They didn't have anything big to really show and they're obviously diverting projects to the NX.

So any E3 format is going to go poorly if you don't have enough big announcements to go with it.

It was far too lackluster. No Devils Third, no Fatal Frame, no Pokken Fighters, Xenoblade X in December, Fire Emblem Fate for 2016, no Pokemon, I could go on and on about it. Last year was great, this year was just, far from it.

That is because Nintendo's e3 this year was way worse than Microsoft's and sony's  past e3 conferences. It was a measly 50 minutes with %30 being developer stories. The wii u gets mario tennis and amiibo animal crossing party and that's it; no new ip, no new AAA game, no sequel to any of the past critically aclaimed games. Just two spin offs. Not once has Nintendo's entire third party efforts consist solely of a skylanders amiibo partnership. Many people weren't expecting much, and Nintendo still managed to dissappoint. That's how bad it was and that is why (when compared to what the competitors are offering) people were pissed
