Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Digital Event was a mistake, it was nothing but trash.

Oh boy, one of the worst I've ever seen in my life can't believe Nintendo fucked up this badly.

Most of what was shown on WiiU was shown last year, the only announcements were Mario Tennis and afucking Animal Crossing game that needs amiibos to be played.

Its dead, don't dare to say it won't be replaced next year because you know its not true.

3DS and Star Fox was alright so at least there's that.

Seems to me they have officially give up on the wiiu.

I expect a better version of X and Zelda on their next hardware.

It was so terrible, it's not even funny.

Ugh, just what the bloody hell, Nintendo?

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Okay, so I just watched it as well... Well, well, well...

I don't know what I just saw. I kind of hate Nintendo right now. A positive hate though, because I want them to be better. Again they have absolutely nothing. What are they doing over there year after year and when do they stop d*****g around?

Did they really just show me a multiplayer Zelda game? Did they really waste time and delay Zelda U for such a stupid thing? I thought the age of the blight that was Four Swords was behind us. I mean christ if they didn't keep on doing these useless things we'd have had the real thing last year already!

And then there is the brilliant idea to make Animal Crossing a Mario Party game. I don't even like Animal Crossing, but even I can see that making that out of one of your biggest series is not a good idea. Everything else looked mediocre and insignificant as well, Retro was a no-show, but at least some of us were correct in assuming Blastball was actually Metroid, though again not exactly the Metroid everyone wants.

The muppets were funny though, and StarFox looks like it could be half-decent. Super Mario Maker will be great though, and even has cool amiibo usage (assuming they unable pretty much all of them), but it's not the epic flagship game you would want to be entering the holiday season with, where competition is fierce.

It's unbelievable to me how they could start off E3 so amazingly with the great showing that was NWC, but then completely blow it with the Digital Event. Was this an afterthought or something? God I wish it was 10 years ago right now.

I didn't know what to expect, but was slightly disappointed that none of the new games really excited me :/

I wish I could unwatch it. I called in sick for my work for this ya know... I want my $150 back :/

It's blatantly obvious Nintendo's abandoning Wii U. They even had to throw in a XCX segment for filler.

I don't know if Nintendo is starting shift towards their next console as some people believe (which makes sense because they don't have third party developer support so the game releases pretty much fall on their hands) but if it is true, abandoning a console so young seems so wrong.

I don't know about Nintendo fans, but if Sony would do something like that I would at least hold on until some years before I buy another console from them.

But it was just one e3. Maybe next year we will see more from Nintendo supporting the WiiU.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

That certainty and the command. Unfathoming!
Don't bet on that...

They will show NX at E3 16 but it doesn't mean that Nintendo will release it in the same year but after 1 year while they will have presented it at E3 2017,I'm pretty confident about that if it's a home console,if it's a handheld things might be different,if it's both,in that case 2016 release sounds very possible.

That's based on a tradition if you remember it Kylee...

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of me,getting refuted though!

What's bad is that if nintendo replace it in 2016,it cuts completely whatever potential is remaining,I mean wii u will probably be  at 12.9m by March 31 th 2016,and that's ultra-terrible if it ends  with that number for LT when there will still be one fiscal year and some months to push it as mush as possible,to 15m-18m not more due to nintendo reluctance to do a price cut and probably they won't do any! However,It's for profits,so it doesn't disturb me a lot, only if a price drop would be harmful for Nintendo, but if they are able to do it and they don't...  FFFFFFFFF....

But 4 years lifetime, even I,will get irritated(Yeah, one more year can make a difference for me but for most people, for instance most Nintendo fans here want to be replaced in 2017,I repeat Just one more year makes a difference) by that and some other things of the transition way which can bother many nintendo fans,so far from what we have read it all the upcoming moves arefor the better but today I got a weird alienating feeling...

Nintendo must be careful, the ones who bought wii u,no matter if the numbers weren't huge,it's a considerable amount and better not exasperate them since they might not buy NX!

Still the 2016 releases make it difficult in my opinion for a replacement,it's dupe, releasing the successor in 2016 will hurt the sales of these releases since people will focus to next gen console, unless the successor is backwards compatible.

Gamecube in 2004,which alignes with wii u's 2015(2004  was the year of tease of Revoultion-WII-2015 was the year of tease of NX) had an underwhelming E3 too, then they revealed revolution at E3 2005 and at E3 2006 they officially presented wii along with some new games for it and released it later in the last week of November...

Can we hope for new games(not I don't mean completely new ips)  announcement in a direct?I think we can...

Holy shit it was bad. Replayed a trailer. The amount of time in Mario maker. The metroid game was a slap on the face. Xcx was there for what reason? More I could say

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion
