Okay, so I just watched it as well... Well, well, well...
I don't know what I just saw. I kind of hate Nintendo right now. A positive hate though, because I want them to be better. Again they have absolutely nothing. What are they doing over there year after year and when do they stop d*****g around?
Did they really just show me a multiplayer Zelda game? Did they really waste time and delay Zelda U for such a stupid thing? I thought the age of the blight that was Four Swords was behind us. I mean christ if they didn't keep on doing these useless things we'd have had the real thing last year already!
And then there is the brilliant idea to make Animal Crossing a Mario Party game. I don't even like Animal Crossing, but even I can see that making that out of one of your biggest series is not a good idea. Everything else looked mediocre and insignificant as well, Retro was a no-show, but at least some of us were correct in assuming Blastball was actually Metroid, though again not exactly the Metroid everyone wants.
The muppets were funny though, and StarFox looks like it could be half-decent. Super Mario Maker will be great though, and even has cool amiibo usage (assuming they unable pretty much all of them), but it's not the epic flagship game you would want to be entering the holiday season with, where competition is fierce.
It's unbelievable to me how they could start off E3 so amazingly with the great showing that was NWC, but then completely blow it with the Digital Event. Was this an afterthought or something? God I wish it was 10 years ago right now.
