I said back when T-0 released that its horrid performance on the XB1 would make it easier for Sony to lock down JPRGs.... it has begun.

It's definitely up there, but I wouldn't say the absolute best.

Yeah, according to Kagari, it was bad to the point that the XBO version sold below Microsoft's minimum print order, meaning SE might have actually lost money from making the XBO version. And this is also a Final Fantasy game in which the series has huge worldwide recognition. JRPGs that don't have that level of recognition will certainly fare a lot worse.
