What's mkv?

I believe its the file type of DVDs... or something like that. Might have used wrong terms.

How do people get movies on their PC or USB?

It's an audio-video container, just like mp4, but better. It's really super fast, just saw a couple of videos from my raspbmc library. But can anyone know if subtitles can be enabled over the network?? Subtitles embedded in mkv files aren't shown.

This is big! One of my favorite features last gen and I still use the heck out of it on XB1! I gotta see how well it runs on PS4 and hopefully, I can copy files to the PS4, too!

I don't even know what any of those codes mean. I have an iphone-6 and that's about it. lol

Only issue I have with it so far is mainly 'subtitle' related such as:

- played hard-subbed animes, the subtitles do not appear thus feels like im watching raw anime
- soft-subbed movies and tv shows do not show up either

I've tried their feature of turning on their 'subtitle' option but still no luck. If anybody knows the reason why subtitles wont work and can get around it please let me know, thanks!

wow, now I really have no reason to boot up my ps3 anymore.
