I see the PS4 being within +/- 2million of PS3. So it might happen, might not. Depends how relevant the PS4 is in Japan 5 years from now, in my opinion. PS3 is still very relevant there.

No, I don't think so. I'm thinking that the PS4 will sell around 8 million in Japan which puts it at around 2 million behind the PS3.

I don't think so. The console industry there is shrinking. I think it will sell around 8.5m.
