But JeuxActu said that the game was developed with Quantic Dream (who quickly refuted that on twitter). I don't know, they seem really confident about the game's announcement, and even if I don't know how trustworthy they usually are, it seems strange to announce something like that with so much confidence... Maybe they really heard something, even if they are wrong about QD...

I could see it. Verendus keeps saying there is an incoming remake, and the announced PS4 version was due a few months ago.

What If square literally tried to troll everyone? Konica did it, and people loved it. Also that meme of the president laughing....

But everyone know jeuxactu and Gameblog are the worst journalists when it comes to videogames in France, they dont deserve this job, they are a disgrace to journalism.

 

So Shenmue rumor is a fake.

 

FF VII and TLG could be true for all we know

Not sure about the source here, but Siliconera tend to be trustworthy with their info, so I'll keep an eye on this.

 

If I could just post this smilie for the entire page, I would. Siliconera is not a website I'd identify as to be very trustworthy. If this turns out to be something, then awesome, but I highly doubt it.

Well, care to share some examples of why they're not? I might have missed something, so I'd be interested in seeing that.
Sounds like you have something specific in mind since you'd like to spam smilefaces all across the page.

Siliconera has gotten better at their translated news, but that had major problems with completely missing or using incorrect details in their news. That misinformation + their editor ishaan is a complete jerk who was divisive enough to get people to start their own niche gaming websites.

I'll be the one to point out.. developing for PS4..not developing exclusively for PS4. If the source is japanese the lack of mention of that word wouldn't be surprising, as it'd be a PS4 exclusive as far as they are concerned. So it could be a PS4/X1/PC multiplat announced Wednesday by Square, not a PS4 exclusive announced today.
If it exists at all.

I dont think the game could exist without beign PS4 exclusive, I would be surprised if Square Enix has enough developers for that when they have trouble with their current projects, they need help from a constructor so they would make it exclusive, and that is only possible on PS4 since it's FF

They announced the FF7 port last year for PS4, not X1, and I'm pretty sure (if this is true) that announcement was an intentional troll to prepare the real announcement. Plus Verendus (insider) on Neogaf talked about the remake for a long time, and I think he always said it was a PS4 exclusive. If he's right about the game being made, I believe him about the platform too. 

 

But let's see if it's real first!
