While I agree with you, these people are just making hyperboles. Who would have thought that Nintendo would release the first Mother game on Western Virtual Consoles? Just yesterday, that was nearly a synonym of impossible, and for Mother fans that kinda deserves a silly and exaggerated comment on the Internet.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Wow! Wasn't expecting that. Definitely great for fans of the series. I didn't care for Earthbound personally, but if this is the start of Nintendo localizing smaller games released a while back, I'm all for it.

So I went to Youtube and saw IGN uploaded a video called Earthbound Beginnings announced for WiiU with a very pretty graphic.
I almost fell off my chair from the excitement. Imagine the dissappointment.
