Is the line up of japanese games for the ps4 more impressive than on the ps3?

That seems to be contingent on whether or not PS4 console sales can pick-up in Japan. If they can't, I would expect half this generation to be PS3/PS4 multiplats and the other half a transition to the next Nintendo handheld/fusion platform and a continual increase in mobile support. 

they moved on from psp to Vita eventually and the same will happen for ps4 between this and next year. it's an easy guess, they are just taking longer to make the move than western market because their audience takes their time moving into next gen.

The difference is that the Vita is actually selling decently in Japan. Also third parties are split between 3DS and Vita, and dev costs are less, making big userbase not as important. NDS got the overwhelming Japanese support last gen.

I bought and played around 150 games for my Wii U, 3DS, PSVita, Wii, 3DS, PS3, X360, PSP this and last gen. And plenty of PC games, of course.

Me or that xl-guy who calls himself "biggest Sony fan alive" in his signature, puts this thread in gaming discussion yet made clear in the title and his OP that it's actually about naming Sony console exlusive games only and that "Some of those will come out on ps3/vita or even steam but on console's not on a different system than on sony's" (which means his wording makes this another of those dozens console list wars threads we get these days on VGC - which is ironic as by now everyone knows that most 3rd party home console games this gen will go to PS4).


I never said the console is better than pc,or that the  ps4 is better than the wiiu or xbox one.

 

I could add in the op"some of these games are  coming to wiiu and xbox one"

But we all know thats not true.

 

And btw this topic is about  japanese games coming to the ps4 since i love those and the support on the PS3 whas lackluster.

It's a nice list, but most of those games are already on or coming to PS3 as well. I'm actually considering buying a PS3 at this point (it's the only console of last gen that I skipped) and holding off on PS4 for a few years.

Well the  thing is some of them are indeed on the ps3 in japan,but there not coming to the west on the ps3  and if they do mostly digital(this is about retail games)

The only one that was confirmed for that to be the case is DQ Heroes, and that is because Square-Enix has some weird thing about localizing Dragon Quest games. Tales of Zestiria, and Persona 5 have been comfirmed for Western releases on PS3. As for the other games, they are either very, very niche games in the West or they haven't been confirmed either way.

The game’s Western release was announced during the PlayStation Experience keynote for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 following the Japanese release

The Vita started selling well BECAUSE of the great japanese support it got, not before. it was a consequence of said support. The games I said I'm buying arent necessarily big budget games and I'm sure the PS4 will get plenty of those even moreso than the ps3 did.
