I watch this video last December, and I've got to say, this video voices a lot of my complaints about this game. Do you like it? Or not?

lol, I love these "Everything Wrong With" type of videos.

Slightly off topic, but the guy from Everything Wrong with *Gaming* talks waaaaaay too slowly, preventing me from enjoying the videos. Cinemasins gets the speed just right.

I gotta say, I've watched fifty seconds and I don't like the style of the video. I prefer in depth breakdowns to rapid fire assertions that things are problems without explaining why.

For example, why is "in medias res" (start in the middle) a bad thing? It has been used to great effect in movies and books for a very long time. Was it misused in this particular circumstance? Was it handled in a way that was confusing? Did it remove any sense of tension from the rest of the game? I don't know...the video didn't go over it

Yes, it does. But only like 10, and it's mostly because to call out the stupidity of the choices of some characters.

I didn't hate the game, but then again I also wasn't expecting a survival horror.

I didn't expect Survival Horror, but I still hate it. It has terrible camera control, boring weapons, and the skill system just sucks.
