I think Ghost Squad & Wario: Smooth Move are most suitable for you, Cooking Mama is not bad either

 

Those games you can just pick up the controller and play, no learning curve

and they are fun too

So WiiSport/Play like experiences:

I'd still recommend Super Mario Galaxy, because it's, just like the games you mentioned, a lot of FUN.

If you'd like to try lightgun shooter: Resident Evil: UC or Ghost Squad, very easy to learn, lots of fun as well.

Party-games: Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 or 2 (1 is probably cheaper), WarioWare and Mario & Sonic at the Olympics.

If you want to try heavier stuff: Zelda Twilight Princess and RE4Wii are amazing.
If you like oldschool Mario with a twist: Super Paper Mario

Future must have: Mario Kart

EDIT: Shame on me, forgot to mention Zack & Wiki, gameplay is very easy and intuitive, puzzles can be insanely hard.
