I have a question about this. What's the precedent? I assume something Bayo 2 related, but did he also retweet Directs with Wonderful 101 content? Curious as to whether he does this for Platinum games in general, or only for Bayo 2 (which he directed).

We'll have to wait and see. I honestly have no clue, because as far as E3 events and Platinum games go, they've been showing Bayo 2 since the first Wii U E3 if I'm not mistaken. Basically Platinum Games has been at E3 with Nintendo for the past 3 years, so there is no way to truly place the importance of the info. But we know it will be something for the Wii U *edit* Nintendo there, and that alone is enough to get excited. 

True, but there's also the fact that Vanquish may be a bit more marketable than Bayonetta.

Regardless, I think Viewtiful Joe 3, The Wonderful 102 and Metal Gear Rising 2* are all more likely candidates.
