Not really surprising, makes sense for a European developer show their games at a European show, especially as Gamescom is becoming more and more important

I would imagine they've shifted it to gamescom because Sony aren't having a press conference there and they need a boost in Europe.

So "we are at Gamescom again" = "we are skipping E3"?

Even if Remedy ain't in the exhibitor list doesn't mean that Quantum Break ain't shown at E3... Microsoft should have some floor space for that game and will probably show the progress in their press conference.

It's GAF's interpretation, not mine. I also thought that but GAF seems convinced it's not coming to E3. I suppose it's because they talk about showing 'new' footage so it follows they wouldn't want to show the same footage we've seen at E3.

New footage in August, which is even newer than the new footage shown at E3 ;)

"We will be there again this year the next time we are releasing new material" doesn't sound to me as if they will show new material before Gamescom.

Would make sense I guess.

E3 should be save for 2015 games and big 2016 announcements.

We've known about this game for a while and gameplay has already been revealed, It could turn up at E3 but whether or not it does isn't important, it'll probably just get lost amongst the shuffle. Same with something like Fable Legends, but thats launching soon so they have to give it a platform.

It seems my prediction was true after all, no Quantum Break at E3. I still think that they encountered a lot of problems with the development and I doubt the game will come out on Spring 2016 like Microsoft says.
