I'm willing to bet on it happening, it will be a full 2 years since the Deluxe sku dropped to $299.99

Well they are sure to have some type of celebration for the Super Mario & NES 30th Anniversary so a themed special edition console isn't completely out of the question.

I think Sony might surprise everyone by doing a 299$ ps4 (a 100$) cut.
It would be a power play, because I cant see MS lowering the Xbox one to 249$, theyd be stuck fighting the ps4 at a equal price.

Reguardless of all this the wii u needs to be 249$... I feel like it should have happend along time ago.
