Which one is better for you?

Platform 1 31 23.31%

Platform 2 102 76.69%

Total:133

1. A platform that has five games that you would rate to be excellent with a score over 90%, and twenty games that you consider average-good with scores above 70% but below 90% (according to you.)

or

2. A platform that has ten games that you would rate to be excellent with a score over 90%, and ten games that you consider average-good with scores above 70%  but below 90% (according to you.)

To clarify: platform 1 has twenty-five games over 70% with five of them being excellent, and platform 2 has twenty games over 70% with ten being excellent.

Also assume that genre diversity and IP diversity is just how you like it for both platforms.

I guess I would go with Platform 2.

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

I'd have to go with door number 2. 10 great games sounds good : )

Number 2, please.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Quality > Quantity as far as I'm concerned so I'd choose Platform 2. I don't mind playing fewer games if the games I get to play are really great.

Considering that my favorite games usually fall into 80-90% range, I'd guess my choice would be platform 1 since there is more games,,,but, honestly it depends on exactly what those titles are, scores don't mean shit whether it's 99 or 79 if I prefer what 79 does for me.

I would have to choose platform two myself. . Have trouble these days gathering the time to beat many games, so my standards for purchase are higher.

The scores aren't based on metacritic or anything. It would be based on your personal rating. You don't even have to use scores, but I added them to make what I was trying to describe clearer. Also IP diversity was assume to be much of how you like it for both platforms.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

picked platform 2 with more quality games. since they are just generic quality games we don't know the genre, and other stuff hence i'll just go with more quality games.
if it is distinct to genre and other factors i may have chosen differently.
