It really depends on the map. I'm really liking the squelcher for Saltspray Rig. The .52 gal works well for Blackbelly Skatepark. The roller is great for Port Mackerel etc.

Only played the demo but I like the splattershot so.. shooters

Shooters, especially the .96 Gal. It's large range keeps most foes at bay and charging closer is pretty foolish against it's high damage output unless coming from behind. I also like it's echolocator special, though the sub is meh. Had a ranked match with it where I scored 29 splats, many of them triple kills. It's only real weakness is that it goes trough it's ink very fast.

Tough to choose. Definitely NOT chargers. Just not my cup of tea. I tried a .56 or a .96 today (cant remember which) and damn that thing is powerful. Went four digits and number one in all four matches with it. I definitely get killed the most by the aerospray. My favorite sub weapon is the seeker because of its long range profinciency and it's attributes as a travel aid. I think the brush and roller are my favorites though. I'll say this, when i use a brush, the roller is my biggest enemy. They're both essentially melee weapons (which is probably why i like them so much), but the roller simply outguns the brush. It's rare i can release a flurry big enough to take out a roller b4 it squashes me.
I really enjoy quickly making a path for my team mates to swim through with the brush, but i think my favorite is the krakon roller. Squashing someone with the roller or hitting them with it like a hammer is just immensely satisfying, and the fact that it's special turns you into a monster squid makes it easily the most entertaining special. Thats final smash material there.

oh yeah, that damn nzap kills me alot too. I love its retro appeal, but still..... it's "release the kraken" for me.

Rollers/Paintbrushes. They're soooo fun to play with, even if they're not the best killing options, they cover a lot of ground quickly and they're really fun to mess around with. s2
