At least it's cheap. $2-2.50 instead of $15. Sigh.

Like Rol pointed out, that's hardly a good price for what we're getting. Add to this how their games are now $50 instead of $40, and it's fair to say that bad consumer practices appear to be increasingly common with Atlus.

There was a certain degree of sarcasm in my post that didn't come across. :)

It did on re-read. I just...missed it the first time. >_>

I have nothing against this kind of DLC. I generally buy them with the 2-3 left on my account when I buy a digital game.

If the vanilla content is enough of course.

I dont see anything wrong their, atlus is a small company unlike EA or Nintendo. Somehow they have to fund their niche games, its the same way like funding kickstarters for smaller studios.

I think Sega (Atlus) are pretty big actually...

Yeah with their gambling machines but the gaming department cant be allowed to fail

That depends on how much capital Sega is willing to allocate to Atlus. Doesn't matter how big Sega is, Atlus doesn't have a blank checkbook to work with in terms of budget. They have to financially justify the continuation of their operations. Look at the rest of Sega's game operations right now.

I'm not in favor of it being announced before the game releases, even if the content is still WIP, but with that said small not mandatory (history) $1 dlc's don't bother me.

It's not like they're going totally crazy, i mean, imagine if they announced something like ''-in Etrian Oddysey 2 you'll wake up in a crossroad, you can pick right or left, the road you don't pick will be $40 DLC!!! -'' haha, now that would be crazy.

Or if after a few missions you had to pick white or black, and couldn't pick the other one without paying a bunch of money! That'd be crazy for sure.

On the bright side, it's not bad as Persona 4 arena where they'll sell you a pair of glasses or some voice-over for $3 each.

I DIDN'T SAY THAT.

it sets a scary precedent for future SMT games.
