Meganium is cute/cool in all honesty. I'm currently trying to do something but Chikorita had a great start that was screwed over by RNG. Totodile is leading, cyndaquil who was havign the worst luck is in 2nd and Chikorita is cllose in 3rd. Totodile should fall behind soon.

Nooo poor bulbasaur! I wholeheartedly agree with pikachu though. I've done solo runs with it before, don't remember it being fun. I believe my pikachu was lvl 18 before I defeated brock...lol

I just want to point out again, that the fact that totodile is on this list is stupid. Yes he is a physical water type but you do realize Ice fang wasn't available in gen 2 right? Not only that but surf was the only water type move needed and no one learns it by level up. You also forgot that his special attack isn't bad so he can easily power through everything. Chikorita does deserve to be on this list but Totodile is by far the most useful gen 2 starter. Him being on this list means Cyndaquil should be on it as well. Your points are only about stab but once he gets surf he easily destroys everything. Ice punch is early on and his special isn't bad so he can utilize it well. There are other moves you can give him to improve his move set like earthquake. TMs may be a single use but the same can be said about the other starters at that point if that's what you're going for. the point also stands that no speed runners use cyndaquil.... they all use Totodile, and if not totodile they'll use a poliwag.
