When Media Create released the sales data for last week, Splatoon had an excellent debut. The game took the top place on the charts, selling roughly 145,000 units. Now, Media Create has released some updated information regarding Splatoon’s sell-through rate. In its first four days on sale, Splatoon sold more than 97% of its shipped stock. In fact, Splatoon’s sell-through rate was even higher than that of Pokemon Diamond.

The Splatoon amiibo also had massive success in Japan. With more than 105,000 Splatoon amiibo sold, there was a sell-through rate higher than 90%.

It's the kind of game that I think most people at least want to try when they see it... You can tell in the first 15 seconds that it looks like fun.
