Mr. Iwata starts off the conference stating that there will be a bright future ahead for the company. After this, a few videos are shown for some already announced games: Fatal Frame V, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fire Emblem If. Reggie then comes in announcing the "half year of Wii U", and announces 7 new games planned for release at the end of the year: Metroid Prime 3, Metroid 4, Super Mario Bros. 5, Splatoon: No Staggered Release edition, F-Zero GXXX, Eternal Darkness 2 and Doki Doki Panic 2. He then reveals the biggest bomb of them all: as it turns out, in the contract between Nintendo and Sony, Nintendo had a secret clause granting them complete control over every Sony published game after 2015. God of War 4 and Uncharted 4 are confirmed to be Wii U exclusive. To finish it all, Miyamoto comes in and announces his new project, Barbie Fighters (a fighting game with crossovers from Danganronpa and TimeSplitters characters). Iwata, Reggie and Miyamoto state that if the Wii U does not surpass the PS2 in sales by the end of 2016, they will use their nuclear onslaught stolen from Russia. End of Direct.
