NX is definitely 2016.

NX is definitely 2016.
Hyrule Warriors 2 releasing this year would not be a surprise.

I completely disagree, nothing indicates that 2016. will be released NX.
For example, Nintendo never showed console and released in same year.
I don't think Zelda U will be pushed all the way to November 2016. Even though Zelda games have been releasing then, I can't see them pushing it back 1 full year regardless of what changes they have to make.
I'm hoping for May 2016, since the least 2 years we've had 2 big games (Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon) in that month. They'll need a title to come out then, so I'm really hoping that the title is going to be Zelda U.

e3 2013 - wind waker HD announced, released later 2013 e3 2014 - Hyrule Warrior announced, released later 2014

Hyrule warriors was announced in december 2013 at the very beginning of this nintendo direct. (below)

very unlikely, with xenoblade, fatal frame, fast racing neo, starfox and maybe even eternal darkness or shadow of the eternals announcement(recently quantum Entanglement confirmed that still on development) there is no need for zelda this year and maybe the game is not finished and nintendo anticipated things to soon
As for NX, nha, if iwata its gonna show us something this 2016 then the earliest you could expect it is 2017, but bet will be 2018 since nintendo has to be prepared with good arsenal for the next console and not make the sam mistakes like wii u, not to mention that there is to much coincidence that nintnedo always launches a new console 2-3 years after announcing its codename to the public
Rmeember?
wii announced as revolution in E3 2004 and launched in 2006
gamecube announced as project dolphin in 199 and launched in 2001
N64 announced as project reality in 1993, renamed as ultra 64 in 1994 and launched in 1996

| Toxy said: Zelda is my favourite franchise. The Wind Waker HD was the only one that caught me off guard, because at the time I was waiting for a Majora's Mask remake announcement. However, as it turns out, this was a good remake/remaster, and it did not cause any delays with Zelda U. So this was a good thing to tide 'fans' over.
A Link Between Worlds was a sequel to A Link to the Past, so what? It still featured new content, areas, game mechanics, story and characters. Hyrule Warriors, the spinoff title was actually a lot of fun and contains a lot of content and fanservice. It is by no means as good as a genuine Zelda game, but it was still good fun nonetheless. So while there has been remakes (with new content added in), a sequel and a spinoff, they have had new content. What you want is the next 3D installment, because evidentally, there is new Zelda content, it just does not interest YOU.
Add fans like myself into the mix that like all the Zelda games and you have a mixed fanbase. Stop speaking on behalf of the entire Zelda fanbase, because myself and as well as others I know have enjoyed these games. I am aware that not everyone wants these games, but as far as Zelda goes, there is always a division between the Zelda fanbase. |
The Wind Waker was developed by the same team that is developing Zelda HD, so yes, it delayed the development.
A Link Between World is a recycled ALTTP. What new areas? Overworld is basically the same. Dungeons? Same ideas: Fire, Ice, Darkness. Story? Basically the same as ALTTP (dual world).
And Tingle's games are spinoffs, Link's Crossbow Training, etc. In the end those are just spinoffs.
I have the three remakes, MM3D the worst. It doesn't change the fact that those games are not original.
And I talked for the fans that wants new content, you clearly don't. So I don't get why did you quote my comment.

I was thinking about A Link Between Worlds actually, which took up at least half their time, but you're right, that game was released one-and-a-half year ago... They probably have a few guys thinking of concepts for a next original game like they always do, but they should have plenty of time dedicated to working on Zelda U since a while now. E3 can't come fast enough. |
Sadly, I don't think we'll see anything related to Zelda this E3.

as far as i know wwhd takes almost no real development time scince the game was already a finished game (just a remake). There were just a few people who left the zelda u team to develop wwhd (which has only a few changes compared to ww).
All the programming work is done anyway by external studios. Nintendo dont programm their games, they just develop.
