Wow so Uncharted collection between June and December and then Unchatted 4 in March. I thought the remaster of tlou within a year was bad, this is way worse and smells like holiday desperation, ideally you would put some time between the games.

Really looking forward to your verdict on Sony's E3 presentation

I'm sure he'll love it :)

I'm a big fan of the name "The Master Thief Collection", it's too bad they didn't do it :(

If they just stop the freaking indie pandering, it will be fine.

I wonder if they'll do a 'remastered' game like Halo did for Halo 2 anniversary. Would be cool to see Uncharted 1 with next gen visuals don't ya think? :)

I truly hope so, otherwise Sony can piss off and shove this cheap port up their..... well I think you get it

Edit: Not saying it'll be a cheap port, but if all Sony does is upscale to 1080p and 60fps then that would be a cheap port.

surprisingly little hate for this remaster. i'm proud of most of you guys for letting us sony folks re-enjoy one of our favorite franchises without having to be belittled and insulted for it.

thank you!

You realize they can't just "flip a switch" and start game development and have it done in a few months. If the collection is announced at E3 and comes out this year, that means it's already been worked on many months in advance. Meaning they already had this planned. So how is it "holiday desperation" when it's something they would have already had planned for the holiday? If that's the case, any game announced for the holiday is "holiday desperation".

Also, way to go shifting the goalpost when Fusioncode called you out for downplaying the collection. First it was "wow, this is bad. They must be desperate", and when shown that they've had this kind of strategy before (releasing a collection at the holiday, then the next release in the spring) that no one complained about, now it's "bu bu but, they're milking the franchise".

The only one that's desperate here is you, trying to minimalize very great news about a collection that people have been asking for because, if you haven't forgot, 1/3 of PS4 owners didn't own a PS3 last gen.

All the games were on ps3, unless they are actually remastering the games, it is a port and would not take much more than 1/2 year I'm sure the plan was delay uncharted and make the collection, still desperation. If Uncharted was coming this holiday, I doubt we would be seeing a collection.

Also I think you misread my comment, the Uncharted Collection and Ucharted 4 being months apart is horrible, and the fact that sony has done this before is even worse.

All in all, I hope we have heard the last of calling out other gaming companies for milking. I hope you enjoy the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, my goodness could they at least have been original with the name, blatant copy.

If they're TLOU level remastered it would take a while to do all 3 games. Porting from PS3 to PS4 isn't too bad, doing a great port from PS3 to PS4 sucks ass and is quite difficult: http://www.polygon.com/2014/5/16/5723830/last-of-us-ps4-port-hell

But we're terribly sorry for Sony trying to have AAA releases for the holiday season, Sony hope you forgive them. Becuase now everyone is forced to buy this against their will because no one wants this collection of games to be made.

EDIT: The porting that I was referring to is about PS3 Exclusive games. Most of the remasters from developers are multi platform and they simply re-work the 360 version or the PC version if there was one for the PS4/X1 version.

You must be reading another thread than this =p

And just give some time for the history to get some traction and it can achieve levels of hate close to TLOUR

Wow the remaster doesn't even have the multiplayer, according to the youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKfRZ1x2nbQ

If true, as I said desperation, this is a lazy port.

Wtf.... this makes no sense at all....

how is Remastering TLOU 1 year after it's launch related to the situation with the Uncharted Collection. Also why is it bad in anyway?

You repetaedly state how Sony are "milking" the uncharted franchise when so far we've had 4 games over 8 years..... you really do like to find something PlayStation related to cry about don't you.

Why do you even care about this in the slightest as a non-playstation owner? Oh right you don't! You just want something to rip on PlayStation about because for some reason you need to make everyone else know that YOU bought the BEST console because you are a SMART person.

I'm really tired of the console wars if you can't tell. There's literally no reason to try and "prove" your console of choice is "better".

Everyone just needs to grow up and enjoy the system you've bought, the only reason to try and devalue a product you don't own is because you're either an Asshole or you feel the need to validate your purchase of your own console.
