Bethesda announced Fallout 4 today. But Bethesda didn’t announce a release date. Bethesda has a press conference at E3 later this month where it could have announced Fallout 4, but opted to do so before the conference. What would be a good replacement? A 2015 release date, of course. And Bethesda’s online store lists the game with a “TBA 2015″ estimated ship date.

Both Amazon and GameStop have provisional December 31, 2015 release dates, as well. Could a 2015 release be on the cards for Fallout 4?

Well that would be a surprise that would make a lot of people happy.

If the game is released in 2015, then the rumors from reddit come full circle. The game does look cross-gen.

I think it will be a holiday release. Elderscrolls V was released all theway back in 2011.

If the game was built to be cross gen as certain findings and graphics suggest, then I think its definitely planned for a 2015 release. Also that was a pretty meaty announcement trailer, so E3 should be a full on media blowout. Fingers crossed anyway, hopefully more games announce and release within 6months, it makes things far more exciting.

I hope no. Too many open world games in 2015 for me.

Not surprising at all. I was expecting it to be announced for this year and the fact that we got an in-game trailer just helps support that.
