Wow 5 million is actually great considering the XB1 userbase. Hopefully MS continues to support with some sort of Expansion as I expect to Halo 6 to not be released until 2018.

Ya whether the 5 million in 3 months is shipped or sold we don't know for sure. I'd estimate it should sell around 7.5 million lifetime of that was shipped/n digital, and around 9 million lifetime if that number was sold. Either way solid numbers for a game launching in the early years of the x1. Especially considering the damage that got done to the brand by mcc. These numbers don't quite show the doom that playstion fans have been preaching about halo lately.

I am also hoping for the same thing, halo 6 in 2018. Halo wars  this year and more support for 5 this year and going into next. That will give them 3 years for 6. They need to keep doing what they are doing with mp, but they need a new writer for singleplayer. I can't wait to see how the game looks for Scorpio. But I am also assuming the game will have a standard X1 version. I am also happy the game is supposedly coming to pc. More people to play the game. It could easily get 7-10million on consoles and 5 million on Pc making it the best selling game in the franchise.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

I feel like they don't have the rights to Yu Gi Oh and they will likely recieve a cease and desist order eventually. Look at the website, definitely not an official licensed game: http://yugiohforhololens.blogspot.com/

Looks ok considering the fact that it's fan made.

If so, I hope Konami decides to develop this shit themselves. Seriously, if they find a way to creat an actual duel disk with a built in PC and Hololens support, we can actually start dueling anywhere like in the anime. Of course, actual duel disks will probably cost like $200 at best and $1000 at worst...

B-but... Halo is on the verge of dying away!

Seriously though. If this is plus digital then it's good, if not, it's great and in line with what Halo 4 did...

Still playing subnautica, really give it a try, it has a free trial :).

I said this before and I say it again: I will always play Xbox even if all Xbox games come to PC.

In response to another comment in this thread, Sunset Overdrive sold well it now sold 1 million copies so I there are those who care about other games besides Halo,Forza, and Gears. ROTTR is another game that sold well during the holidays that were on par with Tomb Raider even though the 360 had a 70+ userbase. As for Quantum Break do not forget the PC released for it that got extra sales but in response to Shikamaru317 I do agree that MS should of promoted QB more instead of showing it only at Gamescom. MS stated they don't want it to compete with other exclusives during the holidays and I agreed to that decision but now that I compare it to SO and ROTTR that wasn't a wise decision. Hopefully when Recore gets a release date it better release during the holidays.

Proud to be a Californian.

MS didn't try enough with marketing for Quantum Break. They said they didn't want to have it against the other exclusives but then they didn't really try much to even sell it when it released.

Reviews did also not really help the game, it's simply not a 90+ Metascore game which many people would instantly buy then. Some people look at the Metascore, some read only single reviews on their favourite sites and on average, most magazine simply didn't give a clear "buy it" and there are many who buy games after reviews.

Well, at least in this cinematic experience universe. If it would be a sandbox game, smaller indie game or whatever it could be lucky to sell good even with an average Metascore.

The Uncharted games as example would probably only sell 1/3  of what they sell if their scores would be below 80.

If Recore launches in October, im afraid there wont be enough time to promote it properly. i mean, we havent even see gameplay yet.

also, too bad the beta date leaked. it'll be nice to see the reactions after Spencer said "and its available now!"

Anima's available now guys. I intend to start downloading it tomorrow... Seems good for everything except the camera...

I don't even think MS was the marketing force behind QB according to some source.

MS had shitty Marketing for Quantum Break, before it's release I saw more Xbox ads for The Division.
