I never really liked the name Black Tusk, The Coalition is a really badass name for a studio and that is a solid Logo.
And if MS buy Remedy I will open a Church worshipping Phil Spencer.

Yeah, when they first bought the Gears IP from Epic their new IP (Shangheist) had only been postponed until Gears 4 was finished, but this video makes it sound like they'll be Gears only from here on out which sucks, probably means that Shangheist has been cancelled. I was hyped for Shangheist. Hopefully it was transferred to another MS 1st or 2nd party dev instead of cancelled.


Lets hope they give Shangheist to Remedy after they announced that there now a MS studio after E3 or keep the IP . :)

But it does sounds like they will be a Gears of War only studio now and im not complaining as the Gears games are my fondest memories of the 360.

I was just about to say this if MS is Turning The Coalition into a Gears only Studio then they need to Create a new AAA studio to take over the job that Black Tusk was originally supposed to do. I know them Buying big studios is a pipe dream but I think that they should try to buy Certain Affinity and Saber Interactive the relationship there already exists.

I also wonder if we will ever see the project that MS Victoria was working on before they were shut down, I remember a statement saying that whatever they were working on wasn't canned.

As we have said before MS needs more AAA studios.IMO them outsourcing their 1st party IP is very risky and shows that they dont have enough Devs to develop the games themselves remember what happened to Double Helix and then the whole Phantom Dust situation.

I like her. She's more interesting than all the boring executives in suits talking about games. And there aren't many female presenters at E3 as well.

Shangheist was the game based on the concept trailer they showed at E3 2013. It was part of the ntkrnl leak, which was almost entirely accurate.

Ohhh I see... The concept they used to present the studio. Never thought it was from a game though.
