I do wonder why it's half the price on PC as the value seems fairly "equal" so to speak. I wonder if they will include xCloud streaming with the current console price or something. Definitely seems off but all that info posted is legit.

I guess the PC pass doesn't give you access to it on Xbox, while Xbox pass gives you both as it does currently. Still weird cause they won't do an "xbox pass" version.

I'm not 100% sure but both PC and Xbox Game Pass should give you the Play Anywhere titles to play across both platforms then it's the other games on each service that are exclusive to the platform.

PC gamers won't even get a fraction of games that Xbox owners are getting. Also, there is rumours PC gamers will need xbox live gold for certain Xbox games like Halo in the future.

They'll get all the important ones, Gears, Forza etc. You don't class half as a fraction? The biggest difference is lack of 360 BC titles.

This. Most people like me aren't on gamepass for BC or small indies. I use it for the big AA and AAA exclusives and some big AAA third parties like Just Cause 4 and Tomb Raider. PC gamers are basically getting the same offer and I have to pay twice as much they have to.

PC games won't even get some of the Xbox one multiplatform games more than likely.

Xbox don't get a couple of the PC games such as Football Manager 2019 or Imperator Rome. At the end of the day it's half the price and includes the games most poeple are subscribed for, Gears 4/5, Halo MCC, Forza, Ori, Crackdown, State of Decay. etc. Seems like a better deal to me.

That's only first party games, but it probably won't get the big third party games which people buy and play the most (check vgchartz sales).

It's all about the competition. There is none on the xbox platform.

It's all about the content too, PC won't get 360/OG xbox games and will more than likely miss out on some big third party games. Hell, it might not even get Halo 5/Forza 6.

Well, it looks like the time for me to upgrade to Windows 10 has finally come..

https://www.spieltimes.com/news/source-xbox-scarlett-will-have-8k-support-120-fps-backward-compatibility-and-more/

Xbox’s E3 briefing begins in less than four hours and we already have some key details about the console. Credible leaker Sabi has both tweeted and provided us with some key information regarding Microsoft’s next-gen console, “Xbox Scarlett”.

Xbox Scarlett will be backwards compatible with Xbox One. For the Xbox 360, we aren’t quite sure. The console is said to be compatible with “4 generations of content”, including past controllers and accessories.

The Scarlett will have faster load times, will support 120 frames per second, 8K resolution and will use SSD for virtual ram. Microsoft will announce it as the “most immersive console experience”.

Currently, the console’s focus is primarily video games. There are no discussions regarding other media as of now.

There will be a second-generation elite controller announcement along with the console.

The Xbox Scarlett is planned for a Holiday 2020 release with Halo Infinite.

We’ll update the article as more details are being shared with us.

So Zero Gameplay for both Gears and Halo wtf. This is why you never trust Insiders when they try to hype up E3.

MS dropped the ball on this one imo.
