The thing is I don't understand why some reviews of Sea of Thieves have come out so early when they haven't even reached the end game? Apparently, you become a pirate legend when you are level 50 across all factions but that's impossible in 3 days. So they haven't judged the game in its entirety.

I played the beta and I'll probably buy the game when summer vacation starts but I want to see a review that sees the game in its totality.

Most reviewers don't complete games that's pretty normal or they have to be short like under 20 hours.

My biggest complaint is that Rare doesn't have a roadmap.  Fortnite/PUBG have roadmaps and it's fun to log in and see the new stuff even when you did not play it for a week their is something new.

Took fortnite 6 months to get a roadmap, and almost a year for pubg.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

That doesn't really matter, it seems that don't have new additions soon atleast that's how most people see it, they easily could see months for release they work on adding new quests/map expansion etc

Wonder what records, either way they need to get on releasing more content as fast as possible.

Happy for Rare.

Most refunds? :P

I agree it needs more content and soon. I want this game to be a success, simply because it's so fun, relaxing and good. And they still need to fix a bunch of bugs.. achievements aren't working, ships randomly disappear, skeleton captains aren't spawning when doing a bounty etc.

If anyone needs a crew member throw me an invite.

Ah me and my buddies just finished another great SoT session. This time we didn't encounter a single hostile crew. We even helped a solo player to kill a bounty skeleton and didn't steal his loot. Ended up drinking and playing music together on our ship :)

Made me think that If you attack other ships and steal their stuff you should get some bad rep. Your flag turns black or something and there would be a bounty for sinking your ship. It would make sense because the game is about reputation.

As a mostly single-player gamer I am still in two minds as to whether I pick up SoT. I would almost certainly have no one to play with in my timezone.

Still, those who are enjoying it seem to be loving it.

In other news, have a bit extra left in my gaming budget, and am tossing up whether I have the gaming time free to justify springing for either a One X or a Switch!

It's a pretty light month for gamepass. A bit dissapointing, considering their huge influx of subscribers in march should have a big game in April to keep them interested. Rise of the tomb raider should've been saved for April.

I'm excited to try out cities skylines for the first time, tho.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Looking at reviews about the campaign on YouTube. Ton of hate.

What could The Coalition do to improve Gears? I'm playing through it now. They introduced new weapons. They had motorcycle segments. They had a fast upward rope pulling segment. The storms are my favorite are even a new threat/segment. I'm not done with the campaign as of now but it all seems like bigger better Gears. I'm of the notion that it can't really change too much. Gears is Gears. Anyone think it should have been left alone maybe? I'm not sure what the sells are but I hear nothing from this game anymore.

It just needs a better story. More than half of the campaign is chasing an enemy that kidnapped Marcus. Also the robots were a pretty lame enemy.

The first game set up the story and i'm sure the sequel will be better.

It is a bigger & better Gears. It has horror elements like original Gears but it's packed with more blood-pumping action. It's just that Gears fans tend to be a bunch of whiners. I've been a fan of this franchise since the beginning and I feel sorry for those who are developing the game, most vocal fans seem to be impossible to please. They have their own idea what the game is about and can't see forest for the trees.

Like DeusXmachina said, it set up the next story and it'll get better. Original Gears wasn't exactly rich in story either. I think they should've focused more on character development though, Marcus completely stole the spotlight heh.

I'm sure Gears 4 sold just fine. They're constantly updating and tweaking the game and even added more achievements couple of weeks ago.

Zero excuses not to pick up Mass Effect Andromeda if you haven't already folks! Excellent game after all the patches.

First few hours are a little slow, and its not as sublime as ME2 and ME3, but really, really good.
