Yes alot better. There was also realtime cutscenes in the GC version rather than the ps2 version didn't I think.

Higher Polygon count, Much more lighting effects and (I think) occasionally better textures, to name a few.

Also, it seems that the xbox was supposedly the strongest console last gen yet the ps2 and game cube games are the most popular for best graphics in this thread.

Hmmm, I'd say the 'Cube version of RE4, God of War 2, The 2 Rogue Squadron Games, Starfox Adventures, F-Zero GX. Prerendered games included, add RE0 and the REmake. SCII Was pretty sweet. Ah, and Zelda: TWW. From an artistic standpoint. Okami also.
