What's the problem with well paced releases? I think it's the best thing they can do... "Holiday" doesn't mean anything if Halo is releasing just 1 month before it. It's a great line up and will likely beat Sony's and maybe even Nintendo's.

If you consider his definition of the holiday, Halo 5 releases 3-4 days before =p.

Around the Network

September - Forza
October - Halo
November - Tomb Raider

In terms of exclusive lineup, that is pretty damn strong. This is without the eventual E3 reveals that may be releasing during the holidays too. And the multiplat titles. And the deals/bundles available.

Do you think Forza and Halo just stop being sold after their first week? Lol September - December is when big Holiday games are supposed to release. This is the time when the most shopping happens. As long as you release a game before Black Friday you're good.

It seems only XB1 exclusive for the Holidays is Tomb Raider, which is timed itself.

This is probably the worst Holiday for console in history.

Should MS push these games back to make for a better Holiday lineup?

I sure hope that you actually own an Xbox one for making statement like this one.

MS holiday is a combination of exclusive and multiplatform ... November being the craziest month,  November never need exclusive from either Sony or MS since this is the release window for all third party game.

Beside there is almost never any major release in December. .. holiday release windows is clearly more September-November most of these game are simply sold in November and December.

I'm not sure what they should do, but keeping in mind how both Uncharted and Zelda are delayed, Microsoft should have this holiday in the bag unless they screw up really bad.

How will they have it in the bag? with Sony having marketing deals and ealy DLC for all the big holiday releases like CoD, battlefront, Assassin's Creed. Just Tomb raider won't be enough to keep the XB1 high on the buyer's list. All Sony would need to do to totally dominate is have just one real exclusive as XB1 will have only a timed one.

I'm sorry where did u get the info about assassins creed and cod ? No one knows about cod and assessins creed anything yet
